Yesterday over 25 members of the RMA Poole and District Branch attended Poole Speedway Stadium to raise money for the RMA-TRMC and raise the profile of the Royal Marines and the RMA in the Poole and wider Dorset Area.
Loaded down with a horde of RM Gazit’s, we were accompanied by a quad of riders from the RMA Riders Branch who escorted the Poole Pirates around the stadium as each rider was introduced to an enthusiastic crowd.
The Branch was well received by the crown who showed their appreciation for the service of all Royal Marines both past a present by clapping the RM Bikers during the procession and raising the Corps flag.
A big BZ goes out to our enthusiastic band of cheerful members who participated in the evening's event. A good night was had by all, and it may even be the start of something new to do on a Wednesday night.
Well done to our Branch President Sharky 1 and the Branch Secretary for the initiative and drive to deliver this event and a special thanks goes out to the Riders Branch who graced the track and came from near and far to join in with us to make it a memorable evening.
