The table and bench have been built by the Royal Marines Association Poole and District Branch to the memory of all royal marines killed between 1945 and 1990 " Rest awhile and reflect that we who are living can enjoy the beauty of the sea and countryside"
Lower Tablet: is dedicated to all Royal Marines who died in the Service of this Country since 1990
Neil Martin Blain, Special Boat Service Royal Marines,
03 April 1963 - 21 June 1994, Age 31.
In memory of Neil Blain who could never resist the challenge of the Lympstone to Poole race. Throughout his life, he epitomised the Commando spirit.

Falklands Square Poole
Borough of Poole, Falkland Square.

This square is dedicated to those who took part in the liberation of the Falkland Islands from April to July 1982.
​
The stone now standing in Falkland Square was erected and presented by WO2 Anthony Ward RM on behalf of the Royal Marines Association Poole and District Branch on 14 July 2023. The unveiling of the memorial was by the Charter Mayor of Poole Councillor Jo Clements, in the presence of His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset Angus Campbell.
